WV Magic Web Design, LLC, a Nashville-based application development and Web-based programming company, has changed its name to DevDigital.
Founded in 2005, DevDigital builds custom products for its clients, including iOS and Android apps for smartphones and tablets (with more than a dozen apps developed), Web-based logistics management systems and website frameworks and designs. The company client list includes Premier Parking, Medical Ventures, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Trace Adkins, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, the Stage, SocialFlights and FriendsWhoShare.
“The name ‘DevDigital’ describes the work we do on behalf of our clients very well,” Peter Marcum, DevDigital co-owner, said in a release. “This change is an important step forward for our business.”
Originally established as WV Fiber, DevDigital has evolved into a company that can handle not only Web design but also software development, Web development and custom app development on multiple platforms. The 49-person company also administers the Nashville Facebook page, which focuses on news and happenings in the city and has attracted more than 100,000 fans.
