Corporate brand and business development strategist, Kimberly Smith, has been named Business Development Director of DevDigital.
Smith will lead new business development initiatives and community relations for the company, focusing on healthcare engagements.
Smith brings two decades of professional experience to her new position. Recently, she has coached and served as a marketing and business development consultant for diverse groups inclusive of healthcare, healthcare software management, and retail mixed use properties.
Prior to consultant services, she was the Director of Marketing and Sponsorships at The Mall of Green Hills where she developed new programs to secure sponsorships for business development and community growth. A leader by nature, she has also directed the Marketing and Business Relations at MedHost of Tennessee, Inc.,where she led strategic marketing, industry tradeshow and sponsorship initiatives for the Franklin-based-organization.Her experience also includes marketing and management positions with The SurgiCenter, Charter Resource Group, Ingram Book Group Inc. and Trevecca Nazarene University.
A Kentucky native, Smith attended Trevecca Nazarene University, majoring in psychology, marketing, and minoring in business development. She previously served on the university’s alumni board. Smith is a Leadership Rutherford graduate, member of the American Marketing Association and has held several board positions with local organizations including Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Kids, St. Baldrick’s, Scott Hamilton Skate for the Cure, and Recovery Support Center.
Smith has two daughters, Abigayle Joy (21) attending UTK studying to be a medical doctor, and Ella Grace (13), a rising eight grader at Providence Christian Academy.
