Change is coming fast and furious within the online learning industry. From cloud-based software adoption to video, tablets, and massive online courses, new eLearning innovations have been hard to keep up with.
Consider the following:
The Learning Management Systems (LMS) market will grow from $5.22 billion to $15.72 billion by 2021. This makes sense as more and more companies make the switch to tech learning solutions. (Source: MarketsandMarkets)
Online-only learners are projected to make up almost 25% of all students by 2020. (Source: LearningHouse)
4.6 million college students are taking at least one of their courses online. And this number is expected to grow as universities expand and take on larger student populations. (Source: CertifyMe)
And 3.4 million college students take all of their courses online. (Source:LearningHouse)
DevDigital is proud to say that as a technology firm we saw these trends developing several years ago and decided to join the community of early adopters. Since then we’ve supported the development of many private and public LMS platforms around the country. And the demand continues to grow. Recently we were chosen as one of the top ten LMS providers chosen by Education Technology Insights Magazine (page 22):
Education Technology Insights has been an apex platform reaching out to 45,000 qualified subscribers in the U.S, offering a renewed aspect in understanding the latest innovations and technologies in the Education industry. Following a peer learning approach, Education Technology Insights spearheads in highlighting education industry’s latest trends and technologies and brings forth the ideas and unique offerings of market leaders to assist education experts in establishing institutions alike.
Education Technology Insights has developed an annual edition on Learning Management Systems, in which they present the "Top 10 LMS Solution Providers 2018" and DevDigital was chosen as one of the ten.
Peter Marcum, CEO of DevDigital said “We are honored to make the list. The technological developments around LMS platforms are evolving rapidly making the experience for student, teachers and administrators more effective than ever before. While there isn’t one platform that fits all the requirements of users, all the platforms allow for customization and that is where we add the most value.”
“Out of our 111 people 21 of them are involved in LMS work and we have many more to call on if need be. This is one of our fastest growing divisions and it continues to grow. We are honored to make the list and to be noted for our work in this growing field of discovery.”
